My mother was the type of mother every child should have. She devoted her whole life to her family and it was her top priority every day of the year.
As her youngest child of six, I knew firsthand that the love she gave each and everyone of us was limitless and there was never a moment in my life where I felt that she loved one child more than another.
She disciplined us when necessary, but never held onto her anger or disappointment in our actions. My mother struck a balance in our upbringing that gave us the confidence to act on our dreams. She taught us that when you fall, you must get right back up and see where you failed then start all over again. That you can achieve anything if you try. That's why we are here today.
She is and always will be "OUR HERO"
